Copyright and Intellectual Property Policy

The Portal's code, layout, graphics, the "More Classifieds" and "MoreTrade" names and logos, trade guides, reports and compiled databases are owned by More Classifieds Agency Ltd or used under licence. You may view and print pages for your own business use. You may not copy, republish, sell, frame or build a competing database from them without our written permission.

You keep ownership of the photos, descriptions, catalogues and documents you upload. By uploading them you confirm that you own them or have permission to use them, and you grant us the licence set out in clause 1.4 of the Terms of Use.

• Uploading photos, catalogues, videos or text copied from another business or website without permission.
• Listing counterfeit, replica or "inspired by" branded goods.
• Using another company's trade mark, logo or trade name to mislead buyers about origin or affiliation.
• Selling pirated software, media or publications.

If you believe content on the Portal infringes your copyright, trade mark or other IP right, send a written notice to support@more.co.ke that includes:

1. 1your name, address, phone and email, and whether you are the rights owner or authorised to act for them;
2. 2a description of the work or mark you say is infringed, with proof of ownership (such as a KECOBO or KIPI registration certificate, where available);
3. 3the exact URL or listing ID of the infringing material;
4. 4a statement that you believe in good faith that the use is not authorised by the owner or the law;
5. 5a statement that the information in the notice is accurate;
6. 6your physical or electronic signature.

1. 1We acknowledge a complete notice within 2 business days.
2. 2We remove or disable access to the material within 48 hours of confirming the notice is complete, as the Copyright Act requires of service providers.
3. 3We notify the User who posted it and send them a copy of the notice.
4. 4The User may send a counter-notice within 10 business days if they believe the removal was a mistake or they have the right to use the material. It must include their details, the material removed, the reason, and their signature.
5. 5We forward the counter-notice to the complainant. If the complainant does not start legal proceedings within 10 business days, we may restore the material.

Knowingly false notices or counter-notices may expose the sender to liability for damages.

We keep a record of valid notices. An account that receives 3 valid notices within 12 months will be closed. Accounts listing counterfeit goods may be closed on the first valid notice and reported to the Anti-Counterfeit Authority.
